In a thrilling Manchester Derby, Manchester United staged a dramatic late comeback to secure a 2-1 victory over Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium. The match was marked by unexpected lineup changes and a sensational performance from Amad Diallo, who played a pivotal role in the final minutes.

In the 88th minute, Diallo capitalized on a misplaced back pass by City’s Matheus Nunes proved costly,as the ball was intercepted by a determined Amad Diallo and in the box Matheus Nunes tried to compensate for his earlier mistake but a poorly timed tackle led to foul giving Manchester United a penalty. The foul was highly unnecessary as Amad had already taken too many chances passing to opportunity to score the equalizer and if Nunes had just held his ground the game might have gone City’s way and given them the break the needed considering their recent form as they are now winless in 11 games in all competitions. However Bruno Fernandes who had missed a great chance earlier wasn’t going to miss this penalty and equalized the score making it 1-1.

In a truly ironic fashion after exactly “115” seconds it was almost like it was scripted calling out Manchester City for the 115 FFP charges. Amad Diallo scored a magical goal receiving a long ball from Lisandro Martínez, and flicked it above Ederson and finishing it with his left foot, left the both Manchester City’s players and the Ethiad stunned. A truly sublime goal showcasing the youngster determination and composure to find the net. Its a goal to be remembered. This game marks Ruben Amorim’s second win over Manchester City this season. His first win with Sporting which was a crushing 4-1 win. This could be the game to help Manchester Untied find the consistency they desire under the new manager.
